WAMU Move: News Dept. Moves In Monday

For the past few nights, through the brightly-lit windows of WAMU’s new headquarters at 4401 Connecticut, we’ve been able to see that the first floor looks move-in ready. But is it?

Pretty much.

From Andrew Huff, director of community relations at American University: “Monday morning (9/16), WAMU news will begin broadcasting from the new location. The following Monday (9/23), WAMU talk shows will broadcast from the new location.”

Huff also says WAMU will be hosting open houses for the neighborhood this winter. We’ll keep you posted on those. For now, we have to be content to be on the outside, looking in:

Though it does look much better from the outside as well.
