WAMU will be on the move in May. Destination: Forest Hills.
During the January ANC 3F meeting at the Methodist Home, American University’s director of community relations, Andrew Huff, gave a presentation about the timeline of WAMU’s move to 4401 Connecticut Avenue, and the planned changes to the facility. Below is some of the information from his PowerPoint presentation, including artist’s renderings of the new exterior and interior spaces, and a streetscape plan that includes new planters, benches, a bicycle facility, and a new tree box area.
