We’ve been doing without an elevator at the Van Ness Metro station since the end of January. And it is scheduled to be out of service until July. In its place, Metro offers a shuttle Van Ness and the Tenleytown station. You call 202-962-1825 to request shuttle service.
I called this number recently and the phone rang 20 times before someone picked up. I was told to call 5-10 minutes before arriving at Tenleytown.
