The Cleveland Park Library’s temporary location in Van Ness opens Monday, and Van Ness Main Street is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.

The library is relocating to ground floor retail space at 4340 Connecticut Avenue, which is also home to UDC’s law school, while its old building is torn down and rebuilt. It’s scheduled to reopen in the spring of 2018.

The ceremony on Monday, October 31st at 9:15 a.m. will include librarian Barbara Gauntt, Van Ness Main Street board members, ANC commissioners and representatives from UDC.
