VNMS hosted the most recent one at Tesoro Restaurant and Bar (4400 Connecticut Avenue) on March 30th.
VNMS Executive Director Theresa Cameron tells us:
“Tesoro welcomed Van Ness Main Street guests with happy hour nibbles and drink specials. Music was provided by Jack Kirby and his combo. Jack Kilby is a drummer and bandleader originally from and now living in the DC Metropolitan area. He leads a jazz sextet called Jack Kilby & the Front Line and performs in a variety of other genres. He received his Masters in Music in New York City in 2015.”
Jazz@VN is a neighborhood event hosted by Van Ness Main Street on the last Thursday of the month, at a different restaurant each month, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. For more information on the April Jazz@VN and more, check the events page at vannessmainstreet.org.
