Election Day is Tuesday, November 6th. We’re here to help you get ready.
When does voting start?
Early voting begins Monday, October 22nd at One Judiciary Square and October 26 at community satellite centers and ends on Friday, November 2. All locations are open from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Sunday. Two locations are available in Ward 3:
- Chevy Chase Community Center (5601 Connecticut Avenue)
- Cleveland Park Library (3310 Connecticut Avenue)
You can also request an absentee ballot, for any reason. The deadline for requests is Tuesday, October 30th. Here are the instructions.
Registering to vote
You can register online and by mail until October 17th and in person until the day before early voting. After that, you can register on the same day you vote, whether it’s during early voting or Election Day with proof of residency. For more information about how to register, click here.

There are seven seats on our Advisory Neighborhood Commission. Four candidates, all incumbents, are running unopposed. Two of the races are competitive, and single member district 3F04 has no candidate on the ballot, so voters may be invited to write one in.
