MoveDC: Get Moving To Their June Workshops

The future of transportation in this city: What will it be? We as pedestrians, motorists, and cyclists will need to share the road. What will that look like?

In Forest Hills, we have more and more families and young adults living in our apartment buildings, and a significant number of older folks. These three different populations have various needs for transportation; and those needs for the future, as our city grows, should be reflected our long term-transportation plan. Plan to attend one of these workshops to provide your input.

Join DDOT at a workshop in June to help plan the District’s transportation future. moveDC is the District’s initiative to develop a coordinated, multimodal long range transportation plan. Each of the upcoming events will offer similar content and input opportunities. You need only attend one. In June, you will be able to:

View information on current transportation conditions

Better understand how we may grow in the future

Learn about trends that could affect how people travel

Review different approaches accommodating people’s travel needs

Share your ideas to help DDOT refine these approaches
