ANC meetings often make news. Sometimes ANC meeting agendas do, too.
Take, for example, the agenda for ANC 3F’s meeting on Tuesday, November 18th (below). Note the agenda item about 3415 Yuma Street NW. That’s the parking structure behind the Days Inn, and you might recall that the hotel’s operator put the property up for sale last year.

It seems there’s been movement on that front, and a real estate attorney is scheduled to appear at the meeting to discuss plans for the site.
See also the addendum to the agenda. Van Ness Main Street shared with the ANC that District Fringe will return to Van Ness next year, Dog Haus intends to open in December, and that the streatery used by Rosemary Bistro Cafe will be dismantled on November 30th.
(Forest Hills Connection is an editorially independent program of Van Ness Main Street.)
And DC Water shared another milestone in the sewer work that’s been keeping Albemarle Street east of Connecticut Avenue closed to car traffic: the installation of a new manhole is complete.
By the way, the ANC meeting on the 18th is on Zoom only. The ANC’s October meeting at Forest Hills Senior Living was its first using a hybrid format since early 2020, and the commission wants to do more next year.
